My name is Kelvin Lawson, better known as Kayell.
Residing in the UK, I am a self-taught graphic designer, specialising in merchandise and streetwear apparel.
My design credits include: Wu Tang Clan, Dennis Rodman, Mike Tyson, Pacsun, Zumiez, Nat King Cole, UFC, NBA, WWE and more.
In a nutshell, graphic design saved my life. Before becoming a freelance designer, I had a corporate job for 12 years in Market Research where I was unhappy more than I was happy and could see myself losing who I was.
Long story short, I was made redundant, and focussed the next 18 months teaching myself as many aspects of graphic design as possible. It was a long road, but like most things in life, nothing is handed to you.
I found my passion and happiness once again as I gravitated towards apparel design. This is why I put everything into each design I create.
